The world of accessible toilets 
Is it against the law to block access to an accessible toilet
If toilets are provided (and not blocked) in the same place as the blocked accessible ones, then the business is not meeting it’s legal requirements to ensure access. If a company decides to block, close or lock up their toilets for all customers or all staff then they can do that.
Surely restaurants have to comply by law? We are in a restaurant with toilets upstairs only that my wife cannot access due to a stroke, bloody outrageous
The problem is nobody applies the law – and older buildings from 90’s weren’t required to install them. All we can do is ask about their reasons for not providing them and take it from there armed with some information about the legalities of their reason.
